MINISTRY OF INTERIOR STATEMENT
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi strongly condemned the unprovoked firing by Afghan forces across the border into Pakistani territory.
He emphasized that no one will be allowed to take the law into their own hands, that taking up arms against the state is unacceptable, and that no action will be taken against any innocent person.
The Minister also acknowledged the valuable contributions of religious scholars toward promoting lasting peace and harmony in society.
وزیرِ داخلہ محسن نقوی نے افغانستان کی جانب سے پاکستانی علاقوں پر بلا اشتعال فائرنگ کی سخت مذمت کی۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ کسی کو بھی قانون ہاتھ میں لینے کی اجازت نہیں دی جائے گی، ریاست کے خلاف ہتھیار اٹھانا ناقابلِ قبول ہے، اور کسی بے گناہ کے خلاف کارروائی نہیں کی جائے گی۔
وزیر داخلہ نے علماء کرام کی دیرپا امن اور رواداری کے فروغ میں خدمات کو سراہا۔
MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS STATEMENT
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs rejected India’s recent statement as irresponsible and misleading.
According to the spokesperson, India twisted and misrepresented the remarks made during the Army Chief’s visit to the United States.
The Foreign Office reiterated that Pakistan is a responsible nuclear power, and described India’s “nuclear blackmailing narrative” as self-serving and baseless.
وزارتِ خارجہ نے بھارت کے حالیہ بیان کو غیر ذمہ دارانہ اور گمراہ کن قرار دے کر مسترد کر دیا۔
ترجمان کے مطابق بھارت نے آرمی چیف کے دورۂ امریکا کے دوران دیے گئے بیانات کو توڑ مروڑ کر پیش کیا۔
وزارتِ خارجہ نے ایک بار پھر واضح کیا کہ پاکستان ایک ذمہ دار ایٹمی طاقت ہے، اور بھارت کا “ایٹمی بلیک میلنگ” کا بیانیہ مفاد پرستانہ اور بے بنیاد ہے۔
