Pakistan Targets Hideouts of Kharijites Linked to Gul Bahadur Group in Afghanistan’s Paktika Province Report By Dr Malik Nafees Bhutta

Islamabad – News Centers Pakistan

According to the latest reports, Pakistani security forces have carried out targeted strikes against hideouts of the Kharijite faction of the Hafiz Gul Bahadur Group located in Afghanistan’s Paktika province, near the border regions of North and South Waziristan.
These operations were conducted based on credible intelligence reports.

Sources confirm that over the past 48 hours, Kharijite militants operating from inside Afghanistan attempted multiple cross-border terrorist attacks inside Pakistan, all of which were foiled by swift and effective responses from Pakistani security forces.

During these retaliatory operations, more than 100 militants have been killed.
Earlier today, members of the same Gul Bahadur faction carried out a suicide attack in North Waziristan using an explosives-laden vehicle, resulting in the martyrdom of several Pakistan Army soldiers and injuries to multiple personnel.

Security officials state that the operations were precise and intelligence-driven, specifically targeting the leadership and infrastructure of the Gul Bahadur Group.
Verified intelligence further confirms that between 60 and 70 Kharijites, including key commanders, have been eliminated in these strikes.
