A special ceremony was organized at the Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC) in honor of the British (UK) iPads Cardiac Surgery Team. The ceremony was graced by Punjab’s Provincial Minister for Health, Khawaja Salman Rafique, as the chief guest. Among those present were Punjab Health Secretary Azmat Mehmood Khan, Chairman of the Chief Minister’s Punjab Advisory Committee on Cardiac Diseases Dr. Furqad Alamgir, Vice Chancellor of King Edward Medical University Prof. Mahmood Ayaz, Vice Chancellor of the University of Child Health Sciences Prof. Masood Sadiq, Medical Superintendent PIC Dr. Amir Rafiq Butt, Dr. Imran Shah, and several other distinguished guests.
پنجاب انسٹی ٹیوٹ آف کارڈیالوجی (PIC) میں برطانیہ (UK) سے آنے والی آئی پیڈز کارڈیک سرجری ٹیم کے اعزاز میں ایک خصوصی تقریب منعقد کی گئی۔ تقریب کے مہمانِ خصوصی صوبائی وزیرِ صحت خواجہ سلمان رفیق تھے۔
اس موقع پر سیکرٹری صحت پنجاب عظمت محمود خان، چیئرمین وزیرِ اعلیٰ پنجاب ایڈوائزری کمیٹی برائے امراضِ قلب ڈاکٹر فرقد عالمگیر، وائس چانسلر کنگ ایڈورڈ میڈیکل یونیورسٹی پروفیسر محمود ایاز، وائس چانسلر یونیورسٹی آف چائلڈ ہیلتھ سائنسز پروفیسر مسعود صادق، ایم ایس پی آئی سی ڈاکٹر عامر رفیق بٹ، ڈاکٹر عمران شاہ اور دیگر معزز مہمان بھی شریک تھے۔
The British iPads Cardiac Surgery Team included Dr. Umar Aziz, Dr. Imran Saeed, Dr. Tariq Saifullah, and Ms. Beatrio Weller Morales. During the event, the team members were presented with commemorative shields and gifts in appreciation of their services.
برطانوی آئی پیڈز کارڈیک سرجری ٹیم میں ڈاکٹر عمر عزیز، ڈاکٹر عمران سعید، ڈاکٹر طارق سیف اللہ اور مس بیٹریو ویلر مورالیز شامل تھیں۔
تقریب میں ٹیم کے ارکان کو ان کی خدمات کے اعتراف میں یادگاری شیلڈز اور تحائف پیش کیے گئے۔
While addressing the ceremony, Provincial Minister for Health Khawaja Salman Rafique expressed that Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif has appreciated the efforts of the visiting cardiac surgery team from the United Kingdom. He stated that during their three visits, the team successfully performed heart surgeries on 41 innocent children, saving precious lives.
تقریب سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے صوبائی وزیرِ صحت خواجہ سلمان رفیق نے کہا کہ وزیرِ اعلیٰ پنجاب مریم نواز شریف نے برطانیہ سے آنے والی کارڈیک سرجری ٹیم کی خدمات کو سراہا ہے۔
انہوں نے بتایا کہ اس ٹیم نے اپنے تین دوروں کے دوران 41 معصوم بچوں کی کامیاب دل کی سرجریاں کرکے قیمتی جانیں بچائیں۔
Khawaja Salman Rafique further stated that the Chief Minister’s Children Heart Surgery Program is the flagship initiative of the Punjab Government in the health sector, under which more than 7,400 successful cardiac surgeries of children have been completed so far.
خواجہ سلمان رفیق نے مزید کہا کہ چیف منسٹرز چلڈرن ہارٹ سرجری پروگرام حکومتِ پنجاب کا صحت کے شعبے میں ایک فلیگ شپ پروگرام ہے،
جس کے تحت اب تک 7,400 سے زائد بچوں کی کامیاب کارڈیک سرجریاں مکمل کی جا چکی ہیں۔
